Three ways to sell your watch.

On an instant offer, nothing: we pay for insured shipping and nothing comes off the offer. On an auction there is no listing fee and no commission; your only cost is insured shipping to our verifier, deducted from your payout, and buyers pay a 7% premium on the hammer. On the Exchange, the seller and the buyer each pay 1.25%, with a $25 minimum, and the buyer pays shipping. There is no fee if we decline a submission.

The instant offer is a firm cash price, usually within 24 hours, wired about 1 day after the watch clears authentication. The auction takes longer but lets bidders set the price. If you have a number in mind and time to wait, the Exchange lets you list at that price. You can ask for the offer first and decide after.

No. Auctions run without a reserve, so the highest bid wins. If you have a price you need to hit, list it on the Exchange or take the instant offer.

Instant offer: we wire your payment about 1 day after the watch clears authentication. Auction: when bidding closes, the buyer's payment is collected and held, and you ship to our verifier within two business days; your proceeds are released once the watch passes verification and the buyer's 24-hour delivery window closes, then your bank’s timing applies. Exchange: once the buyer’s 24-hour delivery window closes and we confirm the sale.

Any member who has signed the seller agreement, verified their ID and set up payouts. You set the asking price, answer questions in public, and accept, counter or decline binding offers. Grey Market approves the watch once before the post goes live, and you ship within two business days of the buyer paying, on the shipping label we provide. Buyers can add authentication for a fee that covers the extra shipping leg; with it they have 24 hours after delivery to return, and without it the sale is final. Open to every member since October 2026.

Buyers make binding offers in private, each open for between 1 and 48 hours. You can accept, decline or counter; counters move in set steps, $10 under $1,000 and $100 above. Once you accept, the buyer has 24 hours to pay, and Grey Market holds the payment until the sale completes. You then ship within two business days on the insured label we provide.

It depends on the buyer. If they add authentication, your watch ships to our verifier first, and once it passes they have 24 hours from delivery to accept it or return it. If they do not, the sale is final: they have 24 hours from delivery to report damage or non-receipt, and you are paid after that. The photos you take as you pack are your record of what you sent.

No. Our team reviews every auction submission, and only about one in ten makes it through. Most of the rest are honest watches that are not right for our bidders, priced above the market, or not what the listing says. There is no fee if we decline.

Submit it anyway. Box and papers add to the price, but most of the best vintage watches lost theirs decades ago. What matters is that the watch is original, which is exactly what verification checks.
