The Breitling reference 1450 is a manual-wind chronograph produced in the early 1970s. This example dates to 1973 and features a stainless steel case with a cushion profile, measuring approximately 40mm across. The black dial is configured with three silver subdials for running seconds, 30-minute, and 12-hour chronograph registers, and is surrounded by a tachymeter scale. The watch is powered by a manual-wind chronograph movement, the Valjoux 7736, which has just undergone a complete service (~$1k). It is fitted with a black perforated leather strap with white contrast stitching and a tang buckle. The caseback is engraved with the Breitling logo, reference, and production numbers. Included in the sale is the watch as photographed on its current strap.
